Being the Media

I did these interviews at the 2011 Hacktionlab Barncamp after listening in to planning meetings there about the new Be the Media radical news aggregator.

In this tech-oriented environment I was fascinated by how many of the decisions to be taken were actually social ones, concerning how the aggregator would relate to other networks and projects.

Hopefully these thoughts will contribute to the ongoing effort to find "road maps" for the various UK Indymedia related projects, which have been consumed of late not in technological matters but social upheaval.
