Absent Friends

A performance over the phone as part of the Artists Home Delivery service curated by Artwash.

In this series, Artwash 'delivered' a series of artists to people's homes for site-specific domestic performances over dinner. When I saw the brief I wondered what it could mean to be 'delivered' into someone's home, and responded by attempting to join the dinner party remotely over the phone. After some very intimate conversations, I was discovered hiding upstairs and came down to meet the guests in person.
